highly qualified communications professional who will be presenting
this seminar is Chris Walsh.
Chris' background in communication
includes seven years serving in the US Army as a signals intelligence
operator/communications team chief, and 11 years as a telecommunications
technician, certified to install and maintain telephone systems by such
manufacturers as Northern Telecom, AT&T, Lucent Technologies, Panasonic
DBS and BTS, Toshiba, NEC, Vodavi, Comdial, Intertel, Telrad, ITT and
Mitel. Chris' experience in the field was not limited to the technical
side of the telecom arena, as he started his own interconnect (telephone
company) in 1987. His company was very successful
and was the first company of its type in the United States. It was a service
company. Because the focus of his
firm was service, it was able to gain a dominant position in it's marketplace
based entirely on reputation and a can-do attitude. The
following is a short note from our speaker, Chris Walsh.

For over 14 years
I have sold, installed, serviced and trained people on a myriad
of phone systems. As a result, you will receive the benefit of
experience that comes directly from the vendor or interconnect/phone
companies' perspective. The company I built was a service company
first and a sales company second. The majority of work we did
as a company was to correct mistakes made previously by either
another vendor, the local telco, or in some cases by the customer
themselves.... I've seen it all! When the business
was built to the point that I was ready to move on, I decided
to sell the company to two of the people who worked for me, so
as to maintain the legacy of service that my customers enjoyed
and expected. Now I would like to use the background and knowledge
of phone systems that I have gained to help people avoid some
of the more common mistakes that come with buying phone systems.
I can't tell you how many times I walked into a new client's office,
only to hear them say that they already have 3 or 4 bids for their
new phone system, but they're just getting more and more confused......
